SICKNESS AND NON-ATTENDANCE NOTIFICATION POLICY

1. YOU MUST CALL

​

Text Message, WhatsApp’s and Voicemails will NOT be accepted as notification. If these are sent you will be asked to call in.

Should you get no answer or voicemail we are probably talking to someone else.

​

Please RETRY UNTIL YOU GET AN ANSWER.

 

This is important for several reasons. There are certain health conditions we must notify Public Authorities about and by calling we can discuss your illness.

 

We also need to understand when you will likely be returning so we can ensure there is cover in place.

 

2. WHO TO CALL

3. WHEN TO CALL

​

Please call at 7.30am on the day of your shift.

​

Unless you have already provided us with a Doctors note, you must call ON EACH DAY of absence.

​

It is vital these rules are followed as they form part of your Terms of Service. Failure to follow these rules may result in disciplinary action.
